Puyallup Fair!

So we were able to go to the Puyallup Fair on opening night and we had so much fun!! Our friends Carey, Jay & Brooke were able to come with us!

Here's Dayton and Brooke on another roller coaster. Again, Brooke is hard to see because she's behind the boy in red... but do you see her arms are up in the air!!! :o)

Dayton was just tall enough to ride the big ferris wheel (he was actually about 1/2 an inch too short, but they let him ride. I got to ride with him!!! (Thank you Jerome for giving me that ride with Dayton). Anyway, Jerome asked Dayton to take a picture of what he saw up there and this was Dayton's picture. :o)

We had split up from Carey, Jay and Brooke and here's Dayton "milking" the cow!!! (it was a plastic cow, but there were utters that you could really milk although it was water that came out.

Oh Dayton had tons of fun!!!!

Here's a cool story here! We stopped by the dog area and here's Dayton petting a St. Bernard. Now here's the cool story... both Jerome and I had St. Bernard dogs growing up, weird huh!

Dayton really liked them.

This one really liked Amara too!!! Amara thought the St. Bernard was pretty interesting and didn't blink an eye when this one stole one of her fish crackers!! LOL! :o)

My favorite family picture right now!! We had this done on a fabric poster and I took a picture of it. We don't have many family pictures, so I just love it!!

Amara's first Birthday Party!

Amara turned 1 a few weeks ago... We had so much fun at her party with family... She did really great opening her presents and playing in the cake. Dayton was a wonderful big brother helping out!
A little bit about Amara... She has personality... Dayton has personality too, but both personalities are different. Dayton was always a very quiet spirit. He knows what he wants and will let you know, but he's quiet about it. Amara likes to verbalize her feelings immediately and sometimes loudly. She is also one that knows what she wants and will let you know, but sometimes it's a bit loud when she tells you.
Both personalities are awesome and amazing and I love to see them growing up together!! There is one very common personality trait they share. They are very loving and boy do they love their family!!

Amara IS walking!

OK, this posting is very late, but our wireless is working and I hope to catch up on postings.


Amara started walking right at 11 months! It was Thursday, July 30th.

Here's a video of the event. (I had video from our camera, but it was too long I think, I couldn't get it uploaded, so I took my cell phone video that I took even before the other video, so this is really her first walk, but the video quality is poor... sorry!)

We are so proud of you Amara, GREAT JOB!!! We love you Amara!!

AMARA IS WALKING (assisted)...

I can't believe it, but I looked over the other day and... Amara crawled over to the bus toy, used it to stand up and then just... WALKED (assisted of course)...but SHE WAS WALKING!!

We are SO PROUD of Amara!!

I am also very proud of how much Dayton, loves his sister! He's encouraging her, hugging and kissing her. He also video tapes her and then helps her turn around. I love my wonderful children!!!

Just in case you didn't know, Amara has a birthmark on her back... Dayton had one on the top of his head and it went away by 9 months. I had one on my forehead that didn't go away until I was 4 or so. I guess my mom had one on her forehead too! Well, I guess it runs in the family and Amara's is on her back.

On Wednesday, Dayton had his last swimming class and Amara started crawling!!!!!!!!
